Re: Is Connect only for Raise printers?

Thanks, I had tried that but it just sat and looked back at me. :)

OK, Repetier it is then. The printer is 15-feet behind me so connection without getting up 500-times a day is preferred, even if the software to do so is not! :D

Re: Print slow, me or Idea?

Thanks, but it is still showing more than double the slic3r rate and also Cura which is only about 10% slower than Slic3r.

Also, if the the deceleration is in firmware, wouldn't that be the same for them all? I am using the stock A6 Marlin-based firmware.

Is Connect only for Raise printers?

I tried setting it up for my a6-clone on Ubuntu 16.04, but could not get a connection. Repetier will connect and control the printer OK, so I know it works for 16.04 and the printer at least.

Thanks

Thanks.

Sorry for the delay have not had time to get back here. I found a fairly simple explanation on youtube and that solved it for the time being.

No Template files on Ubuntu install

Hi All, Just trying out IdeaMaker on Ubuntu 16.04. Installed the DEB and it runs fine, but when I go to slice it opens a dialog with an empty Templates box. I checked the YT-video but it was no help. I assume I need to add those Templates that must be missing from the .DEB file build. Is there a v2....
