Re: GCODE: How do I pause the print at a specific layer height ?

Thank you Charles. I actually just finished a print using that feature. It worked well. Once I generated the GCODE with that Pause option in IdeaMaker, I wanted to see exactly where the pause(M2000) was inserted. So if you set it at layer 10mm in IdeaMaker, it will place the pause immediately after ...

Re: GCODE: How do I pause the print at a specific layer height ?

Thanks Charles. Im not sure how accurate that would be in setting a pause. But definitely a good suggestion that I can play with........ Have you use that feature before ? Is it just as simple as setting the Layer height I wish to Pause at ? Then, to restart the print, do I just hit the Unpause on t...

GCODE: How do I pause the print at a specific layer height ?

Hi Raisers, Thought I would ask the Gurus on this site if this is possible..... I am doing a print where I designed it with an internal void so I can drop in a couple of metal washers for weight. Then continue the print. I am no expert, but there must be a way to do that under the "Advanced&quo...

Ninjatek Semiflex : What finally worked!

This semiflex filament is a pain in the ass to print on a N2!! After crazy stringing, filament chewed by the gears, not sticking to print bed. The following is what worked for me....... Sharing my settings if others are looking to take a stab at it. *All print speed settings set to 20mm/s *Nozzle he...

Re: Having Bed Adhesion Troubles

I also suggest PEI as a print bed surface.... Works very well.. Don't use BuildTak anymore....
I print pla, petg, carbon fiber-pla on PEI with no issues.

For Polycarbonate I use glass with a smear of ABS juice and it sticks great.

Is your PC warping ?

Lately, my Polycarbonate prints were all warping. Searched all over website for a solution and came across the following. .... For a test, I printed the bracket I designed which warped mutiple times prior no matter what I did. This is similar to using abs juice but quicker... *Grab a glass plate fro...

Re: Carbon Fiber

I have tried annealing regular PLA before by just baking them in a standard oven for 15 min and it seems to make the prints more durable. I must say the PLA/CF filament I used here is strong, quite strong without any annealing. It feels way more rigid, has no flex and even just using the T Driver I ...

Re: Carbon Fiber

Thanks :)

For the T-Driver tool, I was able to fit in the hex bits without any cleaning. they fit nice and snug, so there wasnt any drooping inside.

I will be printing larger models which will require bridging and have overhangs. Will keep the forum posted on the outcome :D

Re: Any Ideas??? 0.2 nozzle

Thanks Mecha. So if I am printing with O. 05mm layer height, what should I set my my Nozzle distance to bed? I know you have some experience with small detailed prints and value your opinion... Thanks. Also did you reduce the Flow rate as well? Any reduction in print speed? I used blue tape because ...

Any Ideas??? 0.2 nozzle

Hello. I just bought one of these steel 0.2 mm nozzles from here and have a tough time getting it to print properly. I did set the printer setting to 0.2 and I'm using standard pla. Do I need to adjust the print temp or distance between Nozzle and Print bed? I typically use 0.2mm space between bed a...
