Yes, used 3 lines for the Brim/Skirt.

Those small circles are helper disks, which are really easy to remove and clean up in the workflow.

Re: BTSN2 Build Plate for Raise3D N2 Printers

Quick update, we only have 12 BTSN2 plates remaining in stock. Shipping here in the US will start to get crazy in about 2-3 weeks. Lastly, due to scheduling of other projects that have to be ready by April 2017, we may not be able to schedule another run of the BTSN2 till late Feb or early March 2017.

Re: 303mm Diameter Print Time Lapse 26+ Hrs to 52 seconds.

Hi Budi, we have released a 3D printable inner sphere, along with 2 other version that members have contributed (Cary Christie & Joseph Marcielli). There is a combination printed & aluminum version as well from Micke Askernäs (aka Skeleton sphere). All of those files, are released CC V4 BY-S...

Your English is fantastic.

You are correct,, the inner spheres parts are used to make static, animatronic or fully operational version.

Re: N2 Touch Screen Reset Button

There was some discussion about different ways to do the reset back in May and in the old forum system.

The two ways discussed back then was either use the reset pins or a the battery disconnect. I was wanting to see how R3D was engineering the official way.

Re: Distance between N2 and wall

Did it come from the factory with those rear vent holes? or did you cut them yourself? Charles didn't see a R3D response... I believe the rear slots was a R3D engineering change in the later half of August 2016. It was in response to the overheating in the controller box, due to the lack of cool ai...

N2 Touch Screen Reset Button

Just noticed the update on the main site on the new N2s shipping with a Touch screen reset button. I've searched the community for an official post about it, maybe I missed it. Would like to see a R3D PDF here on installing it as an upgrade, if possible. Will the factory button/harness will be avail...

Re: door frame has come unglued

Here is a pic of my door frame separation. IMG_0315.JPG Eventually I will remove the door, disassemble and replace with either 0.25 or 0.5mm thick 3M VHB, and increase the surface area applied. Just looking through some magnification, It appears that the VHB tape used does not have either enough sur...

Re: BTSN2 Build Plate for Raise3D N2 Printers

You are right, the first layer is critical for good prints. When designing our BB-8 parts, we used surface breaks, strategic holes, voids, and other techniques buried in the print to help those printing with ABS. Even to the point of putting integrated helper disks or angled internal supports into t...

Re: maintain temperatures after stopping a print

Or you can put a Gcode pause (M2000) right at the end... so it waits for you.

Just be aware you might also want to park the nozzle somewhere away from the print, before that pause.

Re: 303mm Diameter Print Time Lapse 26+ Hrs to 52 seconds.

Hi Gizmo, These 3 were sliced with IM, overhang is set to 73° gave the best result with IM. Had to use a dremel 511e abrasive buffs to remove the support though, unless density set very loose... will get exact settings for you if needed. Abrasive buffs make very fast work of support cleanup on the u...
