Re: Wall of shame prints (print failures)

That possibly caused the xy shift. I haven't insulated the block and I forgot to put a z-hop on. But the fans stopping and run away over heating? Despite being separate circuits, they had a common cause. I'd recently installed the Bondtech extruder, and when I re-assembled the head I had too much te...

Re: Wall of shame prints (print failures)

Had this Baby Groot fail about 55 hours into a 65hr print. Sob! It started with an xy skip. After a while of spewing filament into thin air, the fans stopped and the thermocouple failed. The heater went mad and started smoking. The printed fan cover melted and filament jammed in the throat tube, eve...

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

Modifying a probe to also adjust the pot - that's a good idea. I've just set stock drivers to the recommended 0.5v the hard way, small adjustments and recheck. It's slow but I'll likely not be doing it much.

Re: Bondtech BMG upgrade for the N series

I fitted my BMG upgrade this morning, excellent instructions an very easy to do. I'm doing a test print now, but its looking good so far. I had the black motors on my N2+ extruder. On the BMG I had to swap the motor wires on the rear motor (right extruder) only. The front motor (left extruder) remai...

Re: Ida Maker 2.5.0.750?

It's Broken.
Why don't you just have one website?
All your link does is take me to https://www.raise3d.eu/
And that links to Ideamaker 2.4.0
One website is much easier to maintain!

Re: ideaMaker 2.4 release notes - where are they?

Vicky, I'm in the UK. On the WIKI page: Mechanic Tips. Software Tips. Print Defects. All have no link. On the Ideamaker page and the Download Center page: ideaMaker Release Notes does not work because it links to http://www.raise3d.com/pages/ideamaker-changelog and gets instantly redirected. These a...

Re: Shipping rates

Vicky,

What about the UK?
$25 shipping within the UK is very expensive, and applies if I want a kilo of filament or a light weight nozzle.
Could you please look at offering realistic graduated shipping rates in the UK.

Look what I found on my build plate this morning!

Captain, there be dragons (well one dragon anyway). After a massive 199hrs printing. (16:30 Thurs 12th to 23:30 Fri 20th) I had already printed it normal size when I first had the printer, but gave that one to my daughter. I then tried to print a larger one, but that failed. http://forum.raise3d.com...

Re: Intermittent WiFi Connection

That should be plenty of signal.
The only other thing I had was the lease time on the router was too short, and the dhcp assigned a new ip to the printer too quickly. I increased the lease time and had no more problems. It doesn't sound like your problem though.

Re: Intermittent WiFi Connection

If you have an android phone, download "wifi analyser" from the playstore (I don't know if there is an iPhone version). It can monitor signal levels and you can measure around the printer to see if its in a not spot.

That sounds very odd.
Do you have an example stl you can post that shows different orientation in ideamaker than, say, cura?
