I agree this should be in the downloads section. Not every user is on the forums.

Re: Print fan shroud/ duct at 90 degrees for strength

Hi Lyle, Do you still keep the original fan shroud from us?? If you'd like to share a picture of the difference your new one and the original one from us, it will be great. I can use it to feedback to our factory. Vicky, Sorry for the delay. I took a couple of pictures to try and show some of the q...

Re: Print fan shroud/ duct at 90 degrees for strength

Likewise I needed to replace one of the fan shrouds. Once I finally got the printer printing ABS correctly, I printed it out. When I examined the original, I noticed that it wasn't printed in the correct orientation to maximize strength. I laid the shroud down and printed it using standard quality w...

Re: Newbie question about motors

Vicky, You guys are a small company that is growing. You have a great product, an active user community, and employees that care. The right words for you to use here is not "our thoughtlessness". The icon and it's use to disable the motors makes perfect sense to the engineers who designed ...

Re: Forum Rule

Fortunately for me, another user exported the templates, zipped them up and posted them for me to download. I won't post their name here, but anybody could look through some of the messages and figure out who they are. Hopefully, Vicky was indicating that the forum software didn't allow for the post...

Re: All templates for RAISE3D N2 - V2 Hot End have dissapeared

Vernon, I have no idea what I did to piss in your coffee, but this isn't useful to anybody. I will eventually resort to reinstalling the software, but I'm waiting to hear back from someone at Raise in case this is something that they would find some value in. This has nothing to do with me hating yo...

Re: Searching this forum isn't working

I find this problem on here a lot too. I'm trying to find a good template for Raise ABS filament but most of those words are too common and the search returns 0 hits. Not sure what Vicky meant by setting common search to 0, but it didn't work for me again this morning when I tried searching for ABS ...

Re: Newbie question about motors

I wasn't going to comment about this, but since Jetguy chooses to be a jerk I think I'll respond now. Here's the thing. Several people now have commented on the slightly confusing aspect of having a motors disable feature that is activated by pressing an icon on the touch panel. It should be noted t...

Re: All templates for RAISE3D N2 - V2 Hot End have dissapeared

How about uninstall this software install you have made an absolute disaster of, reboot the computer, and start over fresh by installing the latest? That would be a lot more logical than this path you are going down now. Yes, so I can uninstall the software (hopefully if their software behaves), an...

Re: All templates for RAISE3D N2 - V2 Hot End have dissapeared

Change to another filament... The templates are tied to the filament selected. Yes, I tried this also. This works for everything except what I am trying to do. What I mean by that is yes, I can change the type of filament to something else like "PolyPC 1.75mm" and I see the 3 standard tem...

Raise ABS template

Does anyone have a template file for the correct settings to use Raise ABS? I tried searching the forum, but it doesn't like the word ABS and ignores it because there are too many references. I am using official Raise ABS and would like to know the proper settings. Something is wrong with my ideaMak...

Re: Ideamaker Lost default Profiles for N2 V2 hotend

I came across this post because I have a similar problem. All of my templates have disappeared. I can see the folder where everything is supposed to be, but only my custom templates are there. The 3 standard templates are missing. I do have the correct printer selected RAISE3D N2 - V2 Hot End. I can...

Re: All templates for RAISE3D N2 - V2 Hot End have dissapeared

Ok, I figured out how to expose the ~/Library/Application Support/ideaMaker/profile folder. I can now import the templates. However, this is also problematic. There were/are 3 standard templates for the N2 which are High Quality, Standard, and Speed. I created 5 custom templates. When I browse to th...

All templates for RAISE3D N2 - V2 Hot End have dissapeared

I've been traveling for 2 weeks. I came back and after a quick phone call to tech support to help me clear my left extruder, I was able to print. I already had the g-code for a model on the USB drive so I printed from there. It worked. I wanted to print another (different) model so I started up idea...

Re: Extruder hits the bed's metal clip

I had to remove one of the clips because the nozzle banged into it and forced it off anyways. I can't remember if any of the documentation showed us where exactly was the best location for the removable clips (i.e. not the 2 clips at the back), but I think I am only using 1 or 2 along the sides. The...

Re: ideaMaker 2.2.1 Release Note 2016.7.7 and User Manual

Vicky, I didn't make any changes to the raft gap settings. I don't think I am using gcode sliced by older version of the software either because the older version of the software kept giving the error of the model not being on the plate. Once I loaded the new software I added my models and sliced th...

Re: ideaMaker 2.2.1 Release Note 2016.7.7 and User Manual

I miss the free movement option we had (for XY positioning) the way the new version uses the arrows and only one direction at a time does not feel natural to use. Yeah, I second this. I loaded the new software today and found the new move controls difficult to use. I mean, it's not really intuitive...
