Re: Considering Second N2 (maybe N2 Plus?)

So, over a year and still missing badly needed improvements like easier bed leveling, filament monitor, dedicated fan and duct for better downward cooling, fans that can turn off when not printing, or a stock extruder that doesn't grind filament and jam. That last one is sad since there's already a ...

Considering Second N2 (maybe N2 Plus?)

I bought my current N2 in June 2016, and it works well for me. I did some basic mods, including the Bondtech extruder. I'm now considering buying another N2, or an N2 Plus, single extruder only this time. Is there any way to buy either directly from Raise3D with the Bondtech extruder upgrade already...

Re: Filament Swap "Print"

OK, thanks for that info, I just updated to touchscreen firmware 0.9.0.790 and tried it again. It still leaves a resume message on the display when the print is done, and I had thought it was locked up, but I realized the bottom tab buttons on the screen do work and I can go load another print. I'm ...

Filament Swap "Print"

I'm looking to create a "print" that better automates filament changes. Basically, I'd like to run this gcode file any time I want to unload the current filament and load another color, instead of doing it manually through the screen or ideamaker. The idea is that I just start the print, g...

Re: Support Settings

You could also try changing "Vertical Offset Down Layers" from the default of 1 to 0, so there is no layer gap between the bottom of the support and the raft. You may have more difficulty getting the support off the part if you have any areas where the support bases start on the part itsel...

Re: What exactly does "sparse connection" do?

Thanks Vicky for the explanation, I was also wondering what Sparse Connection did. However, that is a strange name as I imagine most people (myself included) would assume that was referring to the connection between the support material and the model. Can I suggest it either be renamed to something ...

Yes also fails uploading, only at the same time that it won't connect to the printer. Just won't start uploading, never fails part way through uploading.

Re: Intermittent WiFi Connection

Thanks. I think I've got decent wifi in that room. It's only about 30 feet from the router, without any major obstructions in the way. 60 Mbps download speed using speedtest app. About -60 dBm signal using wifi analyzer.

Intermittent WiFi Connection

Anybody else experience intermittent WiFi connection with their printer? Seems like half the time I go to connect or upload, it won't work. It will go from working to not working, or vice versa, even in between prints (without having reset the printer, computer, or router). Sometimes resetting those...

Isn't the N2 print area 305x305mm? Not sure how you would be wasting 35 mm per side?

Re: 2ND Led Light strip and cord

I used some LED strips from IKEA. They aren't exactly the same light color, but it's nice that I didn't have to mess with the printer's electronics at all as they are on their own power plug and switch.

I use this, cut to size. It's somewhat stiff, so just holds itself there when put in place.

Try to move the print head by hand. Is it loose in the Y direction? Maybe one of the fasteners on the pulleys has come undone? Check your belts, are they tight?

+1 to lowering your voltage to 0.6V. However, I put these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010D ... UTF8&psc=1) on all my steppers to help further dissipate heat.
