Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

@ABH, Sorry, Im a little confused. So you are saying all I need to change on the Firmware available on your Github is to change the Steps for my Dual Bondtech? Did you just use my Configuration.h file? I also changed my Z Probe Offset, and set Linear Advance to 50. I think I also setup a custom mach...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

I have added the Raise3D Filament Monitor code to these compiled firmware versions: http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6244&p=25627#p25627 and to the BLTOUCH firmware here (not compiled): https://github.com/ABH10/Marlin-for-Raise3D-N-series/tree/1.1.x_Raise3D_BLTouch I didn't do t...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

Hello, When i try to compile the 1.1.x_Raise3D_BLTouch i get an 'endif without if' in the 'configuration.h' Using Arduino 1.6.9 Board = Arduino/Genuino Mega or Mega 2560 Processor = ATmega2560 (Mega 2560) Hey Jvingaard, I got the same error when I tried to compile it. Looks like an extra "EndI...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

Something must be broken in the Stop code, perhaps the touchscreen is waiting for a response from the firmware (MCU) to acknowledge the stop had completed? Can someone look into this? Is anyone else having this problem? On your Raise Touch LCD, under settings, do you have faststop turned on? I beli...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

Hey ABH, So do you think there is any way to make a generic filament runout sensor work on these machines? I think I read somewhere that someone had got it working with a regular endstop. Surely there is a way to make this work, Can someone look into it? Ive had a chance to play with this custom fir...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

I dont plan on using Raise3D's very expensive "Lack of material" sensor. I will make my own from some endstops. Would it be possible to also have the firmware allow our own Filament runout sensors? I know Marlin has a filament runout section, does this work with Raise3D printers? Thanks fo...

Re: LIN_ADVANCE = better extrusion control

Hey ABH, Thanks for the offer, There are a few things that need to be setup for the BLtouch to work. I dont remember exactly what it was though. I have attached a copy of the firmware I am currently running that works with my BLtouch so maybe you can see what things were changed to make it work? I d...

Re: N2 plus completely died

Sounds like your ribbon cable got unplugged from the small board attache to the extruder.. Its the fabric looking flat cable at the top of your picture. Looks like its crooked in that picture, check to see if the socket came unplugged..

Re: Filament monitor

Hey guys, Ive got a workhorse Raise3D N2+, it runs daily, at least 4 hours a day, typically 2-3 15+h prints a week. Its been modded to use a PEI sheet on the bed, upgraded cooling fans, and I added BLtouch to auto level the bed. The thing Im missing and has been driving me crazy is the lack of a fil...

Re: Static (Fixed) IP Address

Most modern routers allow you to set a static IP address for a device. Simply log into your Routers interface and find out where you can set it as static. You can usually do it from the list of connected devices, on mine I select the device from the list and set it to static IP.

Re: Need pointers on PEI

CS Hyde PEI sheet with 3M adhesive backing on my N2+, they have a size custom for the N2. Careful application of the sheet to the glass and I got no bubbles after 5-6 months of daily use. One of the best upgrades I did to the machine, most everything sticks first try, if not, I apply a little glue s...

Re: Compatibility with octoprint

The Raise3D N2 printer actually already has Octoprint Installed. You can use Putty to SSH into the machine and log in with Root and the password you set under the settings/SSH on the touchscreen. You will need to kill the Raise3D Touchscreen app that is running and then start octoprint. But then you...

Re: Bltouch on Raise3d

Been using the BLtouch for a while now. I print every day, multiple times a day. My biggest problem was my mount, I had it on the fan mount and when adjusting or changing nozzles, it would never go back on in the same place so the Z offset was off and needed to be recalibrated. New mount bolts to th...

Re: 1.1.6 hybrid firmware

Im having to change my eeprom setting for the Z offset on a regular basis, I can do it pretty quick, but I have to Log into the printer with Putty, Kill the touchscreen process, run Octoprint and then connect to octoprint so I can use the terminal to enter gcode commands. That Marlin Firmware EEPROM...

Re: Guiding tubes rubbing against top cover

I didnt like it either, Not much you can really do. I tried wrapping some kapton tape around it but not sure it helped. If you plan on upgrading the extruder to a Bondtech it no longer becomes a problem as that extruder assembly is much shorter. Another bonus of that upgrade!
