Re: the temperature of the motors overheat the extruder unit

just to be safe, i plan to print two of these and connect to LED3 and LED4 connectors on extruder connection board.
NEMA 17 40mm fan mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:259718
Nema 17 cooler: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:244292

are those LED3/LED4 connectors controllable by gcode?

Pro2 HEPA Filter control

is Pro2's HEPA filter software controllable?

i'm printing PLA and my cover is already open so filter fan is just an additional noise.

Re: IdeaMaker mac fixes.

note: i don't know if this is a mac only issue or a general one.

for some models, ideamaker complains that they are not valid. we can repair them but if the model is a complex one, ideamaker never finishes repairing. (osx sierra, i7, 16gb)

Re: Make: FFF printer test scores

back when i bought gizmo dorks' pei, they didn't come with adhesive tape. i bought my 3m 468mp from tapecase (tapecase.com) the pei sheet was not cut perfectly so i had to file down the edges to make it flat. then cleaned it with ipa before sticking the tape. please note that these PEI sheets does n...

Re: Make: FFF printer test scores

quality wise both printers are great. one of my printers is rostock g2s delta. it was painful to calibrate and sometimes it gets confused and can't print in straight line. but when it prints, it prints fast and great. prusa mk2 hotend is e3d v6. it's a great hotend. spare parts are available everywh...

Re: Make: FFF printer test scores

i worked back and forth slowly so it was bubble free but i was not patient enough so creases were inevitable. but no issues when printing. since the adhesive and pei are separate, was it difficult to apply it w/o bubbles or creases? thanks! please note that these PEI sheets does not cover the glass ...

Raise3D N2+ 3D Printer Review - 3D Printing Nerd

I was finally able to get my official review thoughts about the Raise3D N2+ 3d printer shot, edited, produced, and published! The fine folks at Raise3D provided this printer for me for review. As with all reviews, this is unbiased and the opinions I state are based on my experience with the printer...

3D Printing Fail (and lessons to be learned)

3d printing is still more art than science. I was printing a Pokeball from Pokemon for my friend and her sons. What happened is best described as an epic failure. Here is what happened and how I fixed it! Also, the Raise3D N2+ was incredibly easy to fix, even though it was my own stupidity that bro...

Re: 3D Printing Nerd: Raise3D N2+ Unboxing and First Use

The unboxing of the Raise3D N2+ 3d printer left me, and most of you, wanting more. I've got the printer printing, and just a small issue to work out before I can consider it ready to go for long prints. Here I update you on the printer, address the build plate clips issue, and apparently stay up wa...

3D Printing Nerd: Raise3D N2+ Unboxing and First Use

The Raise3D printers are quite a sight to be seen, and the N2+ is easily the biggest enclosed 3D printer I've ever unboxed and used. The box comes on it's own pallet. Crazytown. In this video I unbox the printer and attempt to put it through it's first use. What happens? Watch and find out! https:/...
