Re: Life Size Apocalypse Bust

I decided to do a video update on the Neck Armor for my 3d Printed Apocalypse Bust. Bust was not initially able to balance itself without possibly being glued to the base, which is not something I want to do at this point. I decided to front-load the Neck Armor and thus had to re-design parts of it...

Re: Fortnite Battle Bus

Looking good Rob...You make me want to print out some of my vehicles! Thanks a bunch. Do it! Watching the video, your hands are super shaky - Just like mine - and you still put together an impressive model. Really Very Impressive detail work. Very impressive, ROBPAUZA! Haha, yeah, I noticed that to...

Re: Fortnite Battle Bus

what settings did you use? I printed with eSun PLA+ 225 C / 40 C bed .1mm layers 22%ish infill for most parts, but the smaller, structural parts that needed strength I used 85% infill. The hose is the only thing that needed supports and the top framework thing was sent to Shapeways and printed in r...

Re: Life Size Apocalypse Bust

Rob, I have been 3d Modeling since 2004. Started out with Maya. I have used Softimage (which i really liked before it got killed off), Houdini, 3dsMax, Mudbox, Modo and Z-Brush for modeling. I actually prefer Maya (or a primary package) for hard surface. But for concepting, organic modeling or fine...

Re: Life Size Apocalypse Bust

Well, you’re starting off great. That’s going to be really nice. Thanks for the compliment. I’ve been modeling off and on for around 20 years, but have never been too serious about it. I’m guessing yours is Z-Brush? I keep telling myself I’m gong to learn that every time a new version comes out. I c...

Re: Epcot Center Model

The details look more than amazing! What heavy after-processing works are to get the final result! Thanks Vicky. Do to time, I didn't use any post work on the prints. Just paint. I have finished the video of your fantastic bus. The post job looks really cool! Thanks! Nicely Done Appreciate it!

Epcot Center Model

Hello everyone, I thought I would go ahead and share another Raise3D printed custom model. I combined 3D printed elements with some laser cut pieces and I have to say... everything fit together perfectly. I'm continually impressed with the precision of my N2. This model was created as a favor for a ...

Re: Thor Hammer/Captain America Shield

I may be wrong, but it seems to flow a little better at a slightly higher temp. I've had good luck with 225c so I just stick with it.

Fortnite Battle Bus

Hi guys, Here's another project I just finished on my trusty Raise3d N2 printer. It's the "Battle Bus" from the game Fortnite. I modeled it in Lightwave 3D and printed the parts with eSun PLA. I had the top part printed in resin at Shapeways. (can see in last photo) If anyone's interested,...

Re: Life Size Apocalypse Bust

That's super cool. Great modeling/sculpting and finishing! There's not a lot you can do about that drooping unless you use support (which is usually as much post work getting smooth). I'd say, simply breaking the shape down in smaller pieces to orient better on the build platform would be the best b...

Re: Offset problem at first print with N2+

Hi Jonatan. I think Jetguy is agreeing with you that it was in fact a glob of filament that caused either the primary or second extruder to catch and skip about a centimeter on the X and/or Y stepper motor(s). Since the motors have no positioning feedback, it continued printing thinking everything w...

Re: Thor Hammer/Captain America Shield

Rob, up a few posts on your Raise settings you said you set your extrude temp to 125c. In Fahrenheit that equates out to 257 degrees? I started using the eSun product, which by the way is top notch, but i wanted to verify if that is really what your extrude temp is? Thanks Oops... so sorry. I use 2...
