Feature Request #5 Power Saving Mode

My latest feature request is a bit of a no brainer. Machines that get a lot of use are rarely ever switched off, yet in their down time the fans and lights and bells and whistles keep churning. There should be a user customizable power saving mode that will allow the machine to go to sleep after a p...

Feature Request #4, Snap in ideamaker

In my last request I talked about adding imperial units to Ideamaker. This request would benefit everyone who uses Ideamaker for dual extruder printing. It's not a small request, but if you could add snap to the move feature, it would make it a lot easier to assemble prints that use multiple objects.

Feature Request #3 Imperial Units in ideamaker

I design most of my items in Inches. On projects that involve 2 or more .stl files that require assembly in Ideamaker for dual extruder printing, it's really becoming a pain to have to convert dimensions in order to get them lined up properly .

Re: Feature Request #2 Build Plate Height Offsets

But i'm agree with you, an automatic Z sensor would be a good thing but it would cost a lot to get a sensor with this kind of accuracy This is not a cost issue. The technology exists and many other printers have it. For Raise, it's an engineering issue. The printer was not designed for it (a big mi...

Re: Feature Request #2 Build Plate Height Offsets

Hello In my opinion it might be dangerous. You make your 0 position with the Z sensor screw and everytime you change the plate (or sometime when you change material) you must redo the 0 calibration. If you make it by the software, the risk would be that one day you'll forget to change the parameter...

Re: Print Shifting

That's going to be difficult. It's impossible to monitor a 10 hour print in that way and the camera is so blurry that it's useless. The shifting hasn't duplicated, so I'll hope it was a fluke. If it happens a second time I'll start to worry.

Feature Request #2 Build Plate Height Offsets

An auto bed height sensor would be ideal, and contrary to what others have said here, It can be done with a fairly simple hardware addon and I do have some ideas on the subject. With that said, another option would be to allow for build plate offsets. Currently I'm using 2 different build plates wit...

Feature Request #1 Notifications

The filament run out sensor is great and a really nice feature to have, but if you're not babysitting the printer during long prints you might not find out it stopped for hours. SMS notifications would be ideal, however at this point I'd settle for a notification through ideamaker. Secondary to that...

Re: Better time counter

The preheating time will be hard to estimate, because it changes a lot under different using cases. I have seen one user requested to start counting time after preheating and homing completes, it may help a lot. I made that request to support. The time counter really isn't that inaccurate. Preheati...

Print Shifting

I experienced an instance of Print Shifting on a 10 hour print. In the final layers of my print, the printer shifted its center nearly 1/16" on the Y axis. So far this is an isolated instance and I hope it remains so, but this is a disastrous problem if it reoccurs. I've seen this before on one...

Re: Raise3D Pro2 Clicking, Stops Extruding, Cold-Side Clogs

I have the same issue on my right extruder. It only seems to occur after an hour of printing or so. It is not the filament as the same roll works fine in the left extruder. I've reported this to tech support but shelved the issue for now as it takes too long to duplicate and I don't have the time to...

Re: Camera Image Quality

I bought a camera off of Amazon for $5 2 years ago to use with astroprint on one of my prototypers. The resolution is 5x better than this pos. Worse is that it appears to be more an issue of focus than image quality. When I contacted support about the issue, the guy told me to "turn the lens to...

He followed up by instructing me on how to turn on the camera. It took 4 days to get that response. Some of the worst support I've ever experienced.

Re: Camera Image Quality

Your support representative suggested the same thing. He also suggested I turn the lens to focus the camera. I then sent him a photo of the camera and asked what exactly I was supposed to turn. He never got back to me.

Does everyone's camera look this bad, or is it just mine?
