My solution to an "accessible from anywhere" higher resolution camera........

Printed a door bracket for a Nest Camera and now I can view my printer from anywhere and on anything. Camera is approx. $200 and 1080p. 5-day history service (necessary to save timelapse or review earlier footage) is $5 a month, 10 day is $10 a month and 30 day is $30 a month. On the dedicated app I...

Re: Unable to heat either extruder......

Failed this weekend and I pulled the connection to look for burning on the motherboard. There isn't much to see behind this connection as it's covered with the other half of the plastic connector.

Re: Unable to heat either extruder......

Next time it fails (statistically in the next 2 to 3 days) I'll check and see if the motherboard connection is burnt or not and let you know.

Very nice work! Thank you for sharing. ;-) And yes the sideways attachment issue is a pain.

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Anyone else having this issue may want to check the heater power & return cable at the motherboard to see if exhibits a faulty connection as mine does. See video: https://youtu.be/ZOEWxFWa7cs

Re: Unable to heat either extruder......

I'm now in possession of replacement cables and in the process of trying to truly "isolate" the problem before doing so. Does look like it might be a bad connector on the heavy black thermocouples cable at the motherboard. Am going to look for repeatability before swapping cable. See video...

Re: Ribbon Cable change.

Check to see if you have the same faulty connection/open circuit that I'm experiencing. This cable will be easier to replace than the other one as it's outside of the wire bundle (at least on mine). see video at: https://youtu.be/ZOEWxFWa7cs

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Thank you Vicky. Please keep us up to date as we are all rightly concerned and when we don't hear about your progress we become even more concerned. Additionally, please consider using those of us that are having this issue in your testing of the solution prior to general release to save time and in...

Re: Bed handle snap off

Yes Vicky, you are correct in my case on the protrusion being related to the fixing screw. If I loosen the screw the bump lessens. When I'm not in the middle of a print job I will research more by removing the plate and both screws to see why that side protrudes. I tried loosening the screw and reti...

Re: Bed handle snap off

I've had my Pro2 for almost 2 months. I've never set the bed temp above 90c and you can see my handle is starting to warp as well. I never pull the plate out so I'll probably not break the handle but I can see where this could (and will) be happening more often.

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Tired of waiting for a reply to my support ticket I called and talk to support. At their suggestion I disable the motors and moved the print head around and in the back right position the thermocouples jumped to life. Support says its a bad power cable to the thermocouples. They aren't sure they hav...

Re: Unable to heat either extruder......

I tried rolling back to 0.9.7 but that didn't allow the extruders to heat either. Dead in the water.

Unable to heat either extruder......

I've had my Pro2 for a little less than 2 months and I updated to 0.9.11.612 and had a couple successful prints but now neither of my extruders will heat-up. I can't print or load/unload filament on either extruder. Never gets the extruders off of the low temp. What do I need to do to get this worki...

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Since the temp readings are no longer errant for me I'll post a new topic "no heat" to extruders. I can't heat them to load or unload filament or print. Perhaps they can trouble-shoot that?

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

For what it's worth....... I've had the Pro2 for less than 2 months and according to the DashBoard stats: 40d 14h 14m of print time, Material used 9.33kg and Files Printed 116. Let's get this fixed! And thank-you Jetguy for raising the alarm and being so helpful.

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Attempting to continue is no longer an option, regardless. The printer will not heat either nozzle but does heat the bed. This is a production machine and will sit idle until there is a fix. The good news is I have ten Zortrax M200s to take up the slack so at least it won't put me out of business bu...

Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

Updated to Raise Touch Version 0.9.11.6151 and had several successful prints but now the nozzle readings get stuck at 41 C and regardless of which wires I jiggle or adjust I can't get the extruder/nozzles to heat to start a print job. Am wondering if the "Added temperature check for CPU of scre...
