Bed Adhesion Chipping Glass
I ran a print today and when it was done I heard some cracking noises. This didn't sound like the typical noises with the ABS releasing from the bed plate. When I went to check, part of the glass bed was still stuck to the plastic, but had chipped away from the bed itself. This is the 2nd time I've ...

Re: Buildplate Glass Brake
I am having the same issue with ABS. I'm wondering if there isn't a better quality glass that won't have this issue.

Have you adjusted global offset settings in ideaMaker?
Where is the "Global Offset" setting in ideaMaker?

Correction. The brown section appears once I "repair" the model.

ideamaker 3.1 not importing STL properly
When importing an STL file, the software is creating geometry that doesn't exist. Here is the file in cad. cad.JPG And this is what it looks like in the slicer. slicer.JPG The brown stuff doesn't exist in the STL. (I've checked it with other slicers.) I thought it was just an graphics card anomaly, ...

Re: Printing with dual extruder
I know this is an old thread, but I thought I would add that I too have had good luck printing without the wipe wall. There is a tiny bit of color transfer, but it is barely noticeable.

Re: Touchscreen freezes
The freeze has happened both with the machine sitting idle, and while printing. Most of the time the machine continues to print, but the touchscreen is unresponsive, and the status does not update. Brandon had me unplug the battery, but that did not make any difference. I think the display is bad, b...

Re: Touchscreen freezes
I don't think this is a grounding problem. The screen is no longer updating the status of the printer.

Re: Touchscreen freezes
I'm not sure what you mean by a wired mouse. I can upload software from a computer connected via a wireless network, but I cannot control the machine from the computer.

Re: Touchscreen freezes
The USB cable is siliconed into the board. It is also ty-wrapped to a support block, but the support block has come un-glued, so it isn't doing anything.

Re: Touchscreen freezes
Thanks I will check those things.
Some more information: The touchscreen is unresponsive, and the software cannot connect to the printer, but I can upload files to the printer via the software.
This afternoon, for the first time, it locked up mid-print.

Re: Issues with ideamaker slicer - dual head
Thanks. I'll try it without the wall and see how it turns out. At the end of the day, it isn't that much extra material, if it results in quality prints.

Re: Issues with ideamaker slicer - dual head
Actually, those links aren't helpful. This isn't about nozzle strike, contamination or oozing. This is a problem with the slicer, adding extra and unnecessary material.

Issues with ideamaker slicer - dual head
I have Ideamaker setup for dual print heads. The left extruder has ABS as the model material, and the right has PLA for support. I've got the software setup so that the right extruder is being used for the raft and the support, the left for the model and infill. When I slice the model, I'm getting e...

Touchscreen freezes
I am having a problem where the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. It has never caused an issue with a print, but the only way to get it working again is to reset the printer. Any suggestions on what may be causing this to happen?
