Re: Which Nozzle for Pro 2 +

As long as the nozzle is with thread with M6 and length of the thread is over 5.5mm, it can be installed on Pro2 series printers' hot ends. But we cannot assure the printing result from the parts from third party manufacturers.

Re: deactivate unused extruder

You want to stop heating of the unused nozzle after some height or stop heating every layer when nozzle switching?
If only stop heating after some height, you can try pre-layer settings.

Re: Features - Membrane? Dual fill type?

Got your point. So you want to unify the infill structure of the multiple models to give them the same infill structures.

Re: Is my Pro2 preheating correctly?

Would you like to try the testing gcode file we provide on your printer? We are currently not sure about the root reason about the issue your meet. Maybe it is due to something wrong inside start code, so that we want to ask you to help test our code. For the Z axis dropping height in end code, we ...

Re: Pits in prints

Layer Starts Points are hardly to be totally avoided during printing even with high retraction settings.
But you can adjust their positions. Normally Random will be not that obvious as the points are broken apart with each other by layers.

Re: deactivate unused extruder

If your printer is a Pro2 series printer, this preheating process is normal. As it is set for protecting both nozzles in case nozzle switching and lifting before print starts. Or if the nozzle lifts with cold filament inside, it may do harm to the nozzle.

About 3), do you mean you want to define where to have honeycomb infill or just center the infill structure? Sorry, but not fully get your meaning.

Re: Is my Pro2 preheating correctly?

Would you like to help export log and share with me? Or maybe directly open a support ticket from our support system. We are wondering whether it is due to any hardware issue. And if you switch the nozzles to carry out loading and unloading several times, the lifting can always work properly or som...

1) Got it. So what you need to open one more option to choose infill type for top and bottom solid layers separately.
2) Attach some pictures for you to better understand.
3) A feature for you to define the where to apply different infill settings for different features on one model?

I'm so sorry that the current version of ideaMaker only takes isolated features into consideration.
Will feedback you needs to software department. They may can open more in future versions so that the bridge structures can be generated properly on your model.

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

You are right that the original design of the part is designed to mount onto the top of the extruder. But after several tests, we found that the trigger didn't work properly every time and digged out that the issue should be related to too short distance for the software to react. To improve the wo...
