Re: N-series software support

I use my machine as a single-extruder at times, and a dual-extruder at other times. It is a pain in the neck to export slicing profiles from one machine definition and re-import them to copy them from one machine type to another. There is no need to export and import the template. Choose Duplicate ...

Re: Have these issues been addressed?

We have done a destructive test in our factory last month, push over a machine from the second floor, and let it roll over the stairs down to ground floor. Then we found on those machines, they will highly have bent rods, misalignment crossing rods, towing chain not as tight fixed as default, top co...

Re: Board error1 and home position

No longer homing means the nozzle stuck at the last position for printing or back to left front corner but not stop when it reaches the origin point or it moves a little to left and front, but no totally reaches the target position?

Re: Have these issues been addressed?

1. After feeding back commends about this issue to our factory, our factory started troubleshooting the main cause. We have double checked a lot parts. Then we found there has some of the crossing axis in an old batch, whose lower deviation is a little over our min-limits. We have stopped using that...

Re: Slow down and speed up

Thanks so much! Your .idea file helps us find a bug hiding really deep in ideaMaker. Hard to explain the whole logic, but seems when some speeds reach to the same value, the bug will appear. We saw you have changes a lot speed settings to be 100mm/s, default printing, inner shell, X/Y Axis Movement,...

Re: Slow down and speed up

Did you slice it with ideaMaker? Which version have you used for it? Did you edit any setting from the default template? The printing speed is half and half in your gcode, a half is slow, a half is fast. And the fastest part is over 100mm/s. And the break point, there has one pillar missed in your ....

Re: Bug? in iM

Weld Vertices refers to welding two very close vertices to be one whose distance is shorter than the value you set.
Every three vertices will generate a face on your model.

We tried once, disable the Weld Vertices. Then reopen the ideaMaker or clear all the things on platform in ideaMaker. It has no error appear.

Re: Board error1 and home position

If you have V2 installed by default, then you don't need to add extra caps on board, since the new version board has caps on it already.

Re: Support structure settings

If you use Manual support outside, it will use the value in Manual Support's operation pad. If you not use Manual support to generate support, but All or Touch bed only to generate support automatically, it will use the inside value. And the Pillar Size inside Advanced settings only works for Pillar...
