What about the print result? Any obvious defects on the model?

Re: ideaMaker 3.0-beta Release Note Updated Rev. 3.0.4 2017.11.29

I have 3 feature requests. 1) Allow 3 decimal places for the first layer height or a percentage. 2) Be able to disable the creation of the .data file 3) Be able to disable the insertion of M1001 and M1002 into the GCODE. I have an Ultimaker 2 and this feature is not used. Thank you. Feature 1&2...

Re: Calibrating my extruder

ideaMaker has several printing speed setting options in Advanced settings, Layer tab, Support tab, Infill tab. It depends on which structure of your model you want to change speed.

Have you tried not using support for these holes with ideaMaker?

With the latest official verion 1.1.6 motion board firmware, the motors will be kept on locking after pause. So you won't have motor time-out problem.

Re: Bad Layers again

From the log, the heated bed's temperature dropped from 105C (the set value) after reaching it to ninty something. I'm currently not sure, confirming with electronic engineers, but seems should be some hardware problem.

Re: N2plus Dual DOA

Do you mean if you attach USB storage to screen, but you cannot find it under Safe Mode? If the machine cannot recognize the USB storage, it should be due to the screen, since the CPU and driver reader is on screen board but not motion board. But cannot update motion board is abnormal also. Since Se...

Re: Raise3D ABS + XY Size compensation

The X/Y Compensation in Printer Settings is for your printer. It should be a fixed value for one printer for hardware compensation. If for one filament, should edit flowrate in Filament Settings to adjust the extrusion amount. The X/Y Size Compensation in Advanced Settings is for outer shells of the...

Re: ideaMaker 3.0-beta Release Note Updated Rev. 3.0.4 2017.11.29

It does look like underextrusion, but why? It also doesn't feel like it's slowing down on the holes at all. The model is here : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:939528 For supports, look at the cube-no-supports Stl. For the holes, it's in the base Stl. The screw holes in the cube aren't perfect ei...

Re: settings support

If feedrate, yes, it will drop the overall printing speed to be half of the values you set, which means the total printing time will almost reach to around double from before. But if taking heating time, mechanical limits, the real time will be a little different from the exactly double value.

Re: settings support

Feedrate is at Tune menu on screen. Flowrate is not the same settings as feedrate. Flowrate is designed for controlling the extrusion amount. Feedrate for overall speed. If you want to change the flowrate, it is also at Tune menu. 30mm/s is not a bad starter. I remember the default value is 50mm/s, ...

If currently you only use one extruder for printing, I would suggest you to raise the right hotend or drop left hotend a little to avoid the affect of the second to printing. After moving the hotend, please remember check the Z origin position.

Re: ideaMaker:printer dimensions differ?!

Does it appear during uploading the sliced file from ideaMaker to your machine? Your machine has size information, and the sliced file does as well. During uploading, ideaMaker will compare the size information to make sure the sliced file is designed for this machine. Or we have users met such prob...

Re: N2 plus completely died

The touchscreen's the power is directly connected to Power Supply Unit. But the fans and LED and Motors are connected to motion board, and the extruder board as well. Screen is connected to motion board also, but only for data transfer. So if the motion board died, it won't affect the power supply o...
