Re: Pits in prints

Layer Starts Points are hardly to be totally avoided during printing even with high retraction settings.
But you can adjust their positions. Normally Random will be not that obvious as the points are broken apart with each other by layers.

Re: deactivate unused extruder

If your printer is a Pro2 series printer, this preheating process is normal. As it is set for protecting both nozzles in case nozzle switching and lifting before print starts. Or if the nozzle lifts with cold filament inside, it may do harm to the nozzle.

For 2), the current Per-layer settings in ideaMaker can help you to achieve your thought.

About 3), do you mean you want to define where to have honeycomb infill or just center the infill structure? Sorry, but not fully get your meaning.

Re: Is my Pro2 preheating correctly?

Would you like to help export log and share with me? Or maybe directly open a support ticket from our support system. We are wondering whether it is due to any hardware issue. And if you switch the nozzles to carry out loading and unloading several times, the lifting can always work properly or som...

We tried your gcode on our printer, it turns out normal. Have you adjust any setting during printing or not?

Re: Print (iOS) App ?

It is on our developing list, and currently exactly developing and testing in software team.
It's hard to give out a very clear date about when, but there will be some news about online control, App, remote monitor printing released before the end of this year.

Re: Features - Membrane? Dual fill type?

1) Got it. So what you need to open one more option to choose infill type for top and bottom solid layers separately.
2) Attach some pictures for you to better understand.
3) A feature for you to define the where to apply different infill settings for different features on one model?

Re: What constitutes bridging in Ideamaker?

I'm so sorry that the current version of ideaMaker only takes isolated features into consideration.
Will feedback you needs to software department. They may can open more in future versions so that the bridge structures can be generated properly on your model.

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

You are right that the original design of the part is designed to mount onto the top of the extruder. But after several tests, we found that the trigger didn't work properly every time and digged out that the issue should be related to too short distance for the software to react. To improve the wo...

Also, Vicky, the runout sensor mount was 100% designed to mount to the top of the extruder. You are right that the original design of the part is designed to mount onto the top of the extruder. Re: Is my Pro2 preheating correctly?

This is still happening. On a fresh start today, the printer never lowers the right nozzle to begin printing from it. It's apparently specified in the g-code to do so (the T1 command), but there isn't any documentation I can find that would confirm that. ;Sliced by ideaMaker 3.1.7.1850, 2018-05-20 ...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

I had spuratic Ethernet issue but never did try disabling WiFi. I get best copy performance copying over WiFi and via terminal using SCP. I gave up on Ethernet and GUI copy awhile back. I’m running latest touch and my own custom Marlin 1.8. I turned in a ticket and as I recall I was told there were...

Re: IdeaMaker 3.1.7 - Not Updating Slice Setting with Nozzle Diameter Change

If you have edited the printing template before, the changes of nozzle diameter in Printer settings will not affect the extrusion width in this template any more. Or it will hard to manage different printing templates with different extruder width settings under one printer template.

No ma'am. The Bed does not stop at the stopped height, the bed moves down to about the middle of the available Z. Almost as if it were intended to offer our hands more room to remove the model from the bed. In the current the Z drop after print complete is down to 100mm (if the final height is alre...
