Re: Retraction problem with 3.1.0

I do not get it though. How can any part of the *first* layer be considered *inside* the model? Well, the "model" I meant here refers to the structure inside "shells". Sorry for misunderstanding. Well, sort of, I understood you well and unchecking "Avoid Retraction inside M...

Re: ideaMaker 3.1.0 Release Note

Version 3.1.0.1545 When I make changes in the Start GCode tab of Ideamaker then after slicing this changes will not appears in the GCode file. As far as I have tested this Start GCode is not used at all. It seems that ideamaker put his own Start GCode in the GCode file. What can I do so the Start G...

Re: Extruder temperature

Good morning ! Thanks for answering me ! The problem is not how much can the filament extract the extruder momentarily useless at that moment, but I would need or in any case it would be enough for the momentarily unused extruder waiting to resume to lower the temperature to a value not to let the ...

How do I do this?

An extremist example.

Re: Minimal layer print time not working?

Not such familiar with S3D, but tried to slice one model with S3D, seems there had no pause code in smaller layers. Did you adjust some advanced settings which will trigger pause when the layer printing time is shorter than Minimal Layer Print Time (which called Adjust printing speed for layers belo...

Re: Reliable supports that's "not" touching platform?

I made a simple model to test different supports. I noticed that when I place manually supports with a pillar (with a size of 4mm) the bottom and the top of the supports doesn't conform to the shape of the object? Is this a bug? Or has it always behaved like this? Seams really stupid or am I missin...

Re: Minimal layer print time not working?

The print won't pause. Only the printing speed of those small layers will be reduced by scale. But the speed cannot be lower than Minimal Printing Speed settings which is another setting below Minimal Layer Print Time.

Re: Reliable supports that's "not" touching platform?

Solid Base Layers only work for base layers which are the first several layers of the printing.
If you want to give each support structure a solid starter, you can try Dense Support Layer which will set both the starter and end of each support structure to be dense layers.

Re: Please make screen lock persist through resets

Do you mean the reset button at the back side of the screen box?
It is a hardware reset, force the board to reboot, like you unplug the main power and replug it or trigger the main power switch at the back side.

Re: Thermal-Protector - available soon to all

I'm planning on making a large purchase (like three N2+, and more in the future) with an institution that I'm affiliated with. Will those be fine or do I have to order and make these fixes separately? Since both thermal protector and filament run-out sensor are both at pre-order stage, we don't hav...

Re: Hot End Filament Leak

Filament leakage is normally because the throat tube and nozzle are not well sealed with each other. A minor gap between will cause the melt filament leak out. Have you checked our assembling instruction and followed step by step carefully during the reassembling? Did you leave a minor gap between n...

Re: First Layer Fan Speed Not at Zero

"Turn on both fans"? If yours is a dual-extruder, both of the fans should be always-on no matter you are printing or not or use which nozzle to print. My N2+ is dual extruder but only the left fan is on when only using the left nozzle. Please make sure whether the two fan cables are well ...
