Re: Updating Dropbear SSH To Fix Vulnerability

It would also be useful for backups to have rsync installed on a future firmware update as well. May I ask the reason why you need to use rsync? For backup the files from touchscreen? Yes. So I can backup my print files. I've worked in Linux/UNIX IT for most of my career so I'm very familiar with t...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

HI All, Bought the sensor, mounted it to the printer, downloaded the new firmware and connected the sensor to the board as shown in the guide... Started a print job, cut the filament just above the sensor and let it "run-out"... Nope no show, the printer doesn't stop..... Tried to measure...

Re: Is my Pro2 preheating correctly?

Hello, I have the same problem. The right extruder works fine if the left extruder prints the raft. But if I have a right extruder-only print, the right extruder never lowers to print the raft (left extruder is still the lowest). Pro2, ideaMaker 3.1.7 Thanks Jake We have found a bug in firmware whi...

Re: Ideamaker bridging and brim/skirt adjustments?

1. Bridge bridging settings are applied to solid fill sections only.
2. If you want to have gap between extra bed adhesive structure and model, you'd better use Skirt.

Re: Calibration PRO 2

You need to check the distance between nozzle tip and build surface before first time use because of long-way shipping. That screw is used to trigger Z end-stop switch to let the board know, now the bed is at the Z0 height, when the screw reaches to the same height of the end-stop switch during homi...

Re: Extrusion width in ideaMaker

Actually when carry out slicing, the value used to calculate is only the extrusion width under Advanced settings. Please check the preview in ideaMaker of your gcode. The points marked as red forks are retraction points.

Normally by default, retraction is triggered before each long movement. You can check whether in ideaMaker whether the retraction points are enabled properly or not.
