Re: Maybe wrong settings leads to dramatic result

It seems like the ABS printed part has shrink, warped up and caught the nozzle. For kinds of high temperature filament like ABS, the key point of printing is heat preservation to avoid shrinkage. Please pay attention to the following points: 1. Install the top cover and make sure all the doors are t...

Want to double confirm about your request. Is the offset you mentioned the offset between different models before duplicate? Which means if you multi-select several models and duplicate together, the duplicated ones should keep the relative position as the origin ones?

Yes, you can directly unplug the power plug to cut off the power, works the same as flip the power switch.

Is it possible to just do a z hop for some layers/setting only? or do I have to do it for all the layers? Because when I try to add z hop to a setting, IM crashes. Thanks. Z hop can be set by layers or by models in the latest beta version of ideaMaker. You can see Z Hop at Retraction option under L...

It sounds like the communication between screen board and motion board doesn't work properly. Since the screen can read the files inside USB storage to flash the touchscreen firmware, I will more tend the problem to due to loose connection of USB cable, or bad USB cable or bad Ribbon cable, or bad m...

Please keep all the packaging and protective parts properly, in case the machine needs to be transport to any other where in future.

Re: Extrusion factor / E-factor with Ideamaker

Please note, you need to check the origin StepE value in the firmware of your machine first, then you can set the edited value in ideaMaker. Step per unit(mm) refers to how many steps the motor should move to push 1mm-long filament. For example, for we set this value to be 60, which means to move 10...

What's the full error message it displays on your screen?
After loading progress stuck during flashing, have you tried reboot the machine? After reboot, does the version number of firmware change or not?

Re: Pelvis inside of a Crystal Dome

Did you use any special filament for support or just single nozzle to accomplish the main structure and support structure together at one time?
Do the tiny features work well with the support structure?
It is just for fun or use some other use?

Re: settings support

Yes, the nuts should be keep at loose state. But if too loose, during the platform moving, you will hear annoying noise from the nuts. So that we will tighten it but loose a little bit, so that it won't create too much noise.

Re: Stuck in Encoutered problem? Press here to enter Safe mode afte extruder removal.

Hi tritium, Normally we would recommend to remove the right hotend/nozzle as the left is considered to be the primary. In any event, as long as the printer has a thermocouple installed you can remove the heater rod if you like. Most of the time it is easy enough to just remove the nozzle only from ...
