Re: Bltouch on Raise3d

Interesting question ... I assume this could be solved with the right software but I also wonder if these compensations are there.

Re: Bltouch on Raise3d

@Phife, I have routed all the cables so the hard part I believe is done already. Do you have a reference to exactly what steps to take now? I read this entire thread but I am still confused on what mount to use and what firmware to use (particularly because I have the Bondtech already installed).

BuildTak FlexPlate

I'd really like to be able to buy the BuildTak FlexPlate (https://www.buildtak.com/product/buildtak-flexplate-system/) with a surface that matches the N2 bed. Is there any chance that Raise3D and BuildTak will provide such product? I could buy the biggest one (305x305mm) but I don't like much the id...

Re: Bltouch on Raise3d

@firesped, once you are done with the mods to the firmware it will work with BLTouch and Bondtech in hybrid mode, correct? I am really eager to try it out!

Olsson Ruby, will it fit?

Does this nozzle fit the Raise3D extruder? http://olssonruby.com/

It would be really interesting to have such option.

Re: How loud is Raise3d printer

This strikes me as really odd. I don't have any other printer to compare to but my N2 is very loud. I am not even talking when it is printing (the buzz of the motors is bearable) but the fans are super noisy. Should I check something?

Ok, mine is indoor so it will never get that cold ... ABS fumes are still a problem to solve though :(

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder

I am another one that did the mod using the official kit from Bondtech (rev 1). I printed for an entire week and I am really satisfied so far. I used the firmware posted on this thread and it generally works out well except for the occasional error that requires a restart. I guess it is suffering fr...

Re: PTFE tube has collapsed

Thank you guys for all the good advices. This morning I removed the PTFE tube and Jetguy is absolutely right, it looks just perfectly fine. The clog seems lower at the nozzle level. So this evening I am going to replace it with the hot-end and nozzle from the second extruder I recently removed. Hope...

PTFE tube has collapsed

After many failed prints with ABS (nozzle clogged) and a couple of successful print, the printer started to clog again. On the second attempt I went to cleanup the filament and found out that the PTFE tube "sagged in" (see attached photo). I feel like it is not normal at all. Now is comple...

Re: how to properly uninstall the secondary extruder

You are right, the thermocouple was not properly installed (one wired was not properly connected). Now it starts and displays only one extruder as expected. Is there a more permanent solution? I don't really like to have one more cable to zip tie somewhere. Thank you.

Re: how to properly uninstall the secondary extruder

I can definitely do that. So single extruder machines have two thermoucouples?
