Re: Cold nozzles reading 240° C

I had the same problems on my Pro2. I ended up re-seating the thermistor cables inside of the top green terminal boxes. For whatever reason they were installed with one cable crossed over the other one. Every once in a while the printer would shift just right and cause those two wires to come in con...

Re: Annoying Sound on my Pro2

Tech support says they believe it is a broken coupler and they are sending me a new one. I suspect I will receive it next week and replace it then. Interesting. Sounds like I will have to look more closely at nine here, Thanks for the response. I finally received the replacement coupler today and i...

Re: PETG on Pro2

Just finished a test cube with the standard PETG settings for the Pro2. Came out pretty well, much better than my print on the N2. the layers are very well bonded, there is some light stringing between pieces but not bad. I did not use a raft and it stuck to the buildtak very well with the bed dista...

Re: End of filament sensor

Hello everyone, i ordered an end of filament sensor for my N2 plus months ago and i have yet to receive it. I now see the pro 2 is being shipped with this sensor. What gives? Am i the only one not getting the sensor or is it everyone? I submitted a ticket and i get some vague reply that said i woul...

Re: PETG on Pro2

I am currently running some tests on it now, I just tried on my N2+ for the first time last week and I had very weak layers and my outer shells actually peeled right off. I will let you know what works for PETG on the Pro2 once I can get it dialed in.

Re: Odd Print Failures Pro2

Hi guys, I'm all of a sudden running into printing issues with my Pro2, no idea what could be causing them. I've had several long prints fail on me with settings that have worked in the past, I've attached an image of the most recent failure. IMG_0940.JPG Honestly can't tell if there is nozzle drag...

Re: Annoying Sound on my Pro2

Thanks for the info. I just put in a support ticket. Having a similar sound on mine as well. Do you mind updating this when you have found a solution? Thanks. Tech support says they believe it is a broken coupler and they are sending me a new one. I suspect I will receive it next week and replace i...

Re: Annoying Sound on my Pro2

My first guess would be a failed motor to shaft coupler. If the motor was even slightly misaligned, these couplers fail in short order (days or weeks) because every rotation of the shaft fatigues the already thin aluminum. http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=1281 Thanks for the info. I just pu...

My biggest concern is the lack of an error when there is a 150+ temperature reading swing. It shouldn't compensate for that by immediately starting to heat up.

Re: Pro2 Overheating.

Please submit a support ticket at help.raise3d.com. We want to get more detail information about the current temperature issue you are meeting with. Have you ever tried with move the extruder around manually with nozzles not heating and check whether the temperature values change on screen or not. ...

Pro2 Overheating.

Thought I would give the community a heads up, I just purchased a Pro2 for work and we have had it for just under a month. We are having some serious issues with the nozzles overheating. This has happened a few times where the print temperature shown on the touchscreen has dropped drastically and st...

Re: Calibration PRO 2

Bed leveling is pretty much the same, I think there are a few less points of contact and some of the bolts seem to be more secure. The bed plate is removable though so that is nice. And they do ship the Pro2 models with a calibration print on the plate which is actually pretty reassuring. Have been ...

Re: Raise3D Pro2 initial impression

Have you had any problems so far? I am having issues with heating that are eerily similar to the N series printer ribbon cable fiasco. I know they do to use the same cable but I am experiencing the same erratic temperature problems, except this time I get no error just burnt filament! If you could,...

Re: First Month of Printing

Yes, just wanted to see if it was possible. I also scaled the entire thing down so the hole isn't necessarily fit for a standard fastener. I'm new with the Raise3d N2 plus printer (1 week of practice) and I'd really like to know what parameters did you use to get the bolt-nut system working. I have...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

UPDATE: I plugged it in to the MCB upside down like a doofus. In order to best explain to others to prevent the mistake. I think you are saying you flipped the EXP3 connector with the red and back wires. It is not "keyed" and can be flipped around and still plug in- but when doing so- no ...

Re: Filament Run-out Sensor Add-on

Well thought I would go ahead and chime in on this thread here. I have installed the filament sensor on our N2 Plus at work and it does absolutely nothing when filament runs out. I have even started a print with no filament and it starts like normal and ghost prints. Pretty disappointed in this &qu...

Re: Just Released N2 Pro

Last, I'm tempted to call you out on speeds. If the basic gantry mechanics stayed the same, and the change here is electronics and firmware, yes, you may have sent gcode at 80mm/s perimeter. Like I've said hundreds of times, that's like a speed limit sign in both the max speed and desired speed- bu...
