Raise PETG is awesome

I started printing with PETG from the Raise store...This is probably the best material I have ever printed. Granted i haven't strayed from the filament path too far, but so far this PETG is hands down the best i have ever printed. Extruder Temp: 265c Bed Temp: 80c First Layer speed: 15mm/sec Normal ...

Shop Vac Adapter

I started using PETG that I buy from Raise store. I do not think I will be printing with anything else. This stuff is fantastic. The G in PETG is glycol it makes this material more malleable thanPLA or polycarbonate or even straight PET for that matter. This is a simple print of an adapter for a sho...

Airflow Adapter

Airflow adapter used to vent rotary feeder. the aluminum pipe is 8" sch.10 and the round part of the square to round transition is 3" sch. 40. I am using a N2+ for these prints. This part has to be stout, so I printed 5 shells @ 60% infill using Raise3D premium PLA. The layer height is set...

Pre-Heating nozzle & bed

I wish there was a way to preheat the nozzles and bed prior to printing. I can preheat the nozzle by doing a LOAD and leaving it there until everything has come up to temperature but that does nothing for the bed temp. I noticed that until the bed is heated and stable, it is very difficult to get a ...

Re: 1/20th scale model of one of our equipment lines

This was done on the N2+ dual extruder. Curious thing, I was having a bunch of self inflicted problems with the extruders, hot ends etc. and I bought the bondtech replacement extruders. Then suddenly, the printing gods smiled upon me and everything has been printing awesome. I haven't stopped it lon...

1/20th scale model of one of our equipment lines

This is a 1/20th scale model of one of our equipment lines. It was so accurate that it was used in the field construction office as a reference for the installation. If you zoom in on the top tanks you can see the jacking bolts. I used 1.4mm screws for the scaled bolts.

Edit: it stands 35" tall

Cool down inactive extruder not working

I installed the latest update of ideamaker and I am attempting to use one of the new features which allows the user to to turn the heat off on the inactive extruder to stop oozing of a different color during printing. It doessn't appear to be working. I set the temp to 80c for inactive cooling temp ...

5 Months and I think I have it down

I was a complete novice with 3D printing. I never owned a 3D printer before I bought my Raise3D N2+. I am from the mold that says if I want to stick with it, I am going to have to have some skin in the game financially. That is why after reading the reviews, talking to my buddy who has a N2, and rea...

Re: Ideamaker center point different from printer

Vicky that answers the x axis, how about the y axis?

Also, I do not use a raft, skirt or brim when printing. I have seen no need to do so.

Ideamaker center point different from printer

I am using a N2+ Dual head extruder. When I bring a file into Ideamaker and perfectly center it to the (on screen) print platform it does not print that way in the printer. It starts to the left of center and down from center on the actual print platform in the printer. Therefore I cannot make 305mm...

Mounting for End of Filament sensor

Ok, I downloaded this end of filament sensor mounting bracket from thingiverse. It works awesome. I love it and it looks great mounted to my N2 Plus. It came with a drill template for the mounting holes and very good instructions.

Can anyone tell me if this is the proper configuration of the extruder wiring for the V2hot end on the N2 Plus? I attached a diagram.

Re: End of filament sensor

I ordered it with my printer as well, that was 2 months ago. They sent the end of filament sensor and then immediately sent out a notification there was a recall on it and instructed not to install it. I only re inquired about it a month ago. I have opened another ticket but I have not received a re...

Re: Print keeps shifting

These are all awesome "be aware" items. It seems as soon as I think I have this down pat, there's another setting I didn't think of. Thanks everyone for helping me out. I am now gauging the filament each time I print and making adjustments accordingly. So far so good, but I haven't made a ...

Re: Print keeps shifting

Thanks Jetguy, I have since ran several small but complex prints, all successfully. What I took away from your comments is that it was most likely and interference between nozzle and build. I am definitely leaning that way. I do not quite understand your comments I will look into how to properly cal...
