Oh, did you have the kit that included the gloves, feeler gauge, cleaning rods, etc. ? That box had an extra set of tubes in it for me.

Re: Right Extruder Printing

I have a damaged left extruder side and was looking to print with the right extruder only. I know the Pro2 "lifts" the nozzle not in use. I know I can remove the left nozzle assembly to run with only one extruder, but it would be much easier to just lower the right extruder, leaving the l...

Re: Right extruder does not drop down when selected - Pro2

The GCODE shows T1 being selected, but the printer does nothing. If I print dual extruders, the printer selects each nozzle as expected as long as the left nozzle prints first. This is a bug in Pro2 firmware. The Pro2 doesn't resend the command to lower the extruder if it thinks that extruder is al...

The original ones seem to me like Jetguy writes, but too short?!

Mine arrived with the longer tubes in place as well as an extra set of tubes. All stock for me.

Re: Filament change very difficult, tips?

Jetguy has is right. On my Pro2 the tubes extend about 10mm below the inside top edge of the filament door frame. I just feed the filament into those and it's already on its way to the extruders.

Re: Stop heating unused extruder on Pro2

We may consider to heat the unused nozzle to lower temperature, Or if you have any other good suggestion, please feel free to advise. Does shifting the nozzle heads actually require the filament inside to be melted? It seems that the melted portion is wholly contained in the portion that is shifted...

Re: Misalignment left/right extruder

I've tried changing those values... is it normal that the preview doesn't change? Do I have to do a print test everytime I change this value? thanks Doesn't the preview always show it as aligned? If you set a corrected value the preview would do what? Show it as misaligned? You measure the misalign...

How and where to send the switch extruder command to lower that extruder ? cause i found it but i'm not sure how to send that command without loading filament or starting a print. 2018-07-10 09_19_53-file.php (385×654).png You can extrude small amounts without loading/unloading or starting a print ...

Re: Pro2 HEPA Filter control

It's most likely all on a single relay for 'normal use' fans.

If it can be controlled, it's closed source firmware, so you'll need to request the feature.

Interesting idea. I already have a vacuum chamber, but hadn't considered this application. Let us know how it works out.

Re: [Pro2] Nozzle Switching - Not working?

Hey billbucket, thanks! Do you know which command this is? It didn´t work with T1. Is there something else? I was previously just issuing it from the touchscreen. In the utility menu (where the position and home buttons are) you can extrude a small amount of filament from either nozzle. Just extrud...

Re: [Pro2] Nozzle Switching - Not working?

Please check with filament loading function. No matter the Nozzle icons with up and down arrows beside X Y Z controls or the auto Load/ Unload buttons. Once one nozzle is enabled to load filament in, it will drop. Make sure the nozzle temperature has already reached to over 180C as the minimal load...

Re: [Pro2] Nozzle Switching - Not working?

Or am I missing something? This is a bug in the Pro2 firmware. The Pro2 starts up thinking the right extruder is lowered, so when you send it a lower right extruder command it does nothing because it thinks it's already lowered. There is a beta firmware that fixes it, which I have, but it's apparen...

Re: half of the touch screen does not work

Capacitive touch screens don't require the user to be grounded. Higher resolution screens (relatively speaking) are often segmented into halves or quadrants to improve response time. You most likely have a damaged/unseated cable between the screen overlay and the display/touch module controller (as ...

Ah, well if you're doing the assembly elsewhere and therefore aren't expecting errors in assembly then I'd just tell Ideamaker you don't need supports and give the print a try.

Re: Scratches on the Top Cover

This happened to my Pro2 as well. It gets much worse than pictured here.

Unfortunately, I think preventative measures are limited to putting tape or something similar in the affected area. Otherwise you'd have to put in a radius at the top of the print head to keep the tubes from arcing upward.

Re: Pro2.1 (Pre-order Pro2 vs currently shipping Pro2)

Casale8, it may be. I was hoping that R3D would provide pre-orderers with a discount for the Tools Cabinet they're making for the base of the Pro 2, but with recent experience my thought is R3D doesn't care enough about existing customers to do something like that.

Pro2.1 (Pre-order Pro2 vs currently shipping Pro2)

I pre-ordered a Pro2 and was among the first to receive it. Raise3D recently sent me a replacement Pro2 printer in an attempt to resolve a firmware issue (they were adamant that it was a hardware issue  ). I've noticed some differences between the pre-order version and the recent replacement: ...

Re: Do they sell a larger size nozzle for the Pro 2?

They've mentioned elsewhere that as long as the nozzle is M6 x 5.5mm, it should be ok. Sorry, I don't have a link to where this was mentioned.
