Re: Is the N2 Sold Out Because it is No Longer Being Made?

Just forcing the buyer's hand. I bet if N2 series was still available it would be cutting into the Pro2 sales.

Re: New Idea Maker

I feel compelled to leave a comment about Cura 3.6. I cannot believe the control they give us at all levels. At first blush I wanted to say, "Whoa! That's too much!" However, as I have been trying to set new speed printing records on my N2, I am extremely happy with the Cura options. I am...

Re: 1st Layer Dragging on N2+ with BondTech and .6mm Rubies

We print Esun PLA a lot, it's are goto PLA. I have never printed on glass with a glue stick though since we always print to Buildtak. First thing I noticed with your settings which seemed odd to me is that your first layer is 0.28mm but your other layers are 0.38mm. Normally I have them the same or ...

Re: Is Unload necessary?

We've never had a problem jamming with unload as long as you pre-load first. The only time we had a problem was with PTEG that was unloaded without a pre-load. Even then I think it was a temperature issue since the user was loading PLA and I might have used PLA temps for the unload instead of the PT...

Re: Is the N2 Sold Out Because it is No Longer Being Made?

We stop N series this year. But the support for N serie's printers will still continue. That's a shame. We anticipate purchasing a second printer after the new year, but will not purchase a Pro2 due to it's closed source firmware. We were hoping for another N2 Plus single so we will now need to loo...

Re: Questions About Thermal RunAway

Flightrider, There are several threads about the Thermal Runaway / Thermal Protection. I think it all started with the BMG Bondtech thread here: http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2594&p=17406&hilit=1+meg#p17383 You can also read this: http://forum.raise3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=4...

I don't have the new version yet but previously is was under the "cooling" tab. Is there an option under Cooling?

Looks like it's been about a month since he has posted. I thought I saw a post were he said he was done with Raise3D but can't find that now. From reading his posts in the " Cold nozzles reading 240° C " thread, I think he tried to help but Raise didn't want it. With the flaws he feels the...

Re: BONDTECH DUAL DIRECT UPGRADE ISSUE

Hi sorry for the delay. First of all, Yes, I have a Bondtech upgrade but I only have the single and only run a single extruder. I also added the silicone boot not long after the Bondtech. I also have a dedicated fan shroud for the hot-end, with no output for part cooling, and a dedicated software co...

Did you autotune the hotend PID settings after adding the silicone boot? Mine changed quite a bit after adding the boot.

I have found the same thing. Stop the print and it lowers. Print completes and it doesn't. :?

Re: N2 Touchscreen not reacting to touch on it's left side

I have the same issue. Contacted support and they quoted me $450 for a new touch screen. Like others said, it works with a mouse. How something like this is not covered by an extended warranty when so many people are reporting the issue is beyond me. Agree, this is crazy! Luckily we haven't had an ...

Re: Heaters not working. New cartridges & thermistors

Seems the thermal protector is telling you there is a problem with the ribbon cable. When you say you replaced the ribbon cable, what did you replace it with? An off the shelf pre-made cable? Or did you make / crimp the connectors yourself? If it's the latter, I would double check the crimp orientat...

Not with the current setup. The power switch is not software controlled and therefore needs to be manually switched off.

Because I installed a cover device & additional fan and it gets too tight when the printer goes back to the left front corner, satisfied ?! ;-) It would be better if it stopped several millimeters before. http://forum.raise3d.com/download/file.php?id=9269&t=1 Where you "set home" ...

Re: Specify Right to Left or Left to Right printing

Not sure if there is a way to do this since I don't have a dual extruder, but the first thing I would try is to rotate the model 180 degrees in Ideamaker and try or preview the print to see if it effectively reverses the direction for you.

Re: Change XYZ Home Position

Hmmmhhhh so is a user unfriendly system well :-( I think most all systems will behave similarly since they are all homing to there limit switches. Even if the system could be told to "Home" to a different location, it would still need a limit switch reference so it would still need to go ...

Re: Set up the space between the nozzle and the buildtak

Personally, I feel that it does both. If I place 0.2 in first layer height, I will have a first layer height of 0.2, and also a gap of 0.2 between the nozzle and the bed. Yes, but there are limits to this. I think it would be quite hard to set your first layer height to 0.05mm as any changes in bed...

Re: List of Currently Used Firmware and G-Code Commands

Thank you for the info. I tried the temperature control list, but it seemed to only to change temperature on the specified, singular layer. Then the temp would revert back to the default settings. Anyway I opened up and edited the gcode using "M104 T0 Sxxx" on each temp change layer, and w...
