Re: Extruder switch gcode for Y-splitter (2-into-1 nozzle)

Not sure if it would work for you but I think there are settings in ideaMaker for what you want to do. If you go to edit your slicer settings, then go advanced, then the Gcode Tab, there is a "Extruder Switch Gcode" Tab. In there you can set several items including "extruder_switch_re...

Re: Problems with vase mode

Oh heck, I just realized after looking at the printer in the background, this isn't even a Raise 3D printer . I'm all for helping folks, but come on man, this is your printer crapping out. Not even a fair comparison. Wrong. You're jumping to conclusions with no data. Proof: https://i.imgur.c...

We would love to have this option! As well as have the ability to delete some of the default but unused entries.

Re: All of a Sudden...Terrible Layers

Do you have a single extruder or layer controlled fan? There is a weird "feature" in ideaMaker which I thought was a bug. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6299&start=40#p30429

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

Thanks, I'll have to see if Vicky chimes in or if Jeffrey with Support gets back to me. I reported this 5/11/18 and got a response back 5/16/18 stating he was forwarding the ethernet issue to another tech who was more knowledgeable in networking. A few minutes later on 5/16/18, I got another email r...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

Thanks for the code! My gut is telling me that if you keep it at 100Mbps that you'll have a hard time breaking it. I feel a lot of these issues are coming from the flaw in the iMX6 and the simplest way to resolve it would be to keep traffic well below the ~400Mbps limitation. I really want to try th...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

Interesting! So you adjusted the switch to 100Mbps, and not the printer? I was going to ask our IT guy if that was possible but haven't seen him around yet. I also realized that about the time I first upgraded our printers firmware and started having issues was the same time our IT guy upgraded our ...

Re: Touchscreen Firmware 0.9.9 Release Note 2018.5.17

Hi Vicky I installed the old version but no result could it be a hardware problem? I found that after an update many times I have to "reset to factory defaults" before I can get any ethernet connectivity. How are you connected to your printer? Are you using ethernet? If so, do you have ac...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

If you have access to an older router or switch that is limited to 100Mbps, I suggest you try connecting the printer through it. My guess is that your speeds will GREATLY improve and suddenly be very consistent.

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

What if you plug in the printer with a Cat3 cable? Interesting thought! I’m not sure if I could find a CAT3 cable but even if I could, I wonder if that would effect the auto-negotiation speed.(?) I was meaning to ask you, does your printer link at 1Gbps? If so, how are the transfer speeds? On our G...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

I could never get it to link reliably over ethernet, never tried again after I found out you could ssh in and set up WPA-Enterprise so it could link to my wifis. Unfortunately for security our WiFi is firewalled such that devices on WiFi are isolated from other devices on the network. The devices m...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

Well I just tested the network performance between my laptop and the N2+ when they are connected through my old Airlink101 Model AR430W 100Mbps router. I could not believe how FAST the connection was when it was linked at 100Mbps. A file that took a minute or two to upload, uploaded in a flash of a ...

Re: Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

Thank you both for the replies. I did a bit more testing today trying to ping the unit and my results were horrible regardless of if I was using a static or DCHP Ethernet connection (that is when I could get them to work). Basically my absolute best result was 50% success, with most being complete f...

(But the Mac is connect via WiFi. So it’s not a direct Ethernet to Ethernet transfer).

Poll - Do you use Ethernet, Wifi or Flash Drive to transfer your files to your Raise3D printer?

Hi All, We have been having an Ethernet connectivity issues with our new N2 Plus after upgrading the RaiseTouch firmware. Unfortunately, downgrading hasn't resolved the issues. I have run several tests while waiting for Raise3D's support to get back to me but get very inconsistent connection, if any...

Last, somewhat in contrary to the rule, recent update to ideamaker have made that application and update version more problematic than other other topic. Recent fan control changes are just really troubling in without any discussion or announcement. I'm on the fence on this one and maybe other user...
