Re: Top Cover, Lid, What is it good for?

Timon, Your understanding about heat retention is correct. Some materials, such as ABS, benefit from a higher enclosure temperature (top on, door closed). Some, such as PLA, work better when cooled quickly (top off and/or door open). The confusion arises from the poor punctuation on the stick-on lab...

Re: N2 Printhead CAD Model

detroitus and Mark, Thank you for your responses. I plan to do some modifications to my machine, so I ended up building my own CAD model. Disclaimers: 1.) The model is based off of measurements using a caliper (I believe it is quite accurate - Raise seemed to base everything on millimeter or half mi...

Hello All, I was rather disappointed with the Raise3D taped-on sensor mounting method so I came up with the following alternative method. N2 Printhead CAD Model

Hello All,
I am wondering if anyone has an accurate CAD model of the N2 Printhead (preferably the double extruder but single is fine as well). Prefer an open format (STEP, IGES, etc.) or Solidworks.

If nobody has one I will put one together and post it here.

Regards,

Auxiliary Digital Output

My question: Is there an auxiliary digital output available on the motion control board (or extruder connection board) that can be programmatically switched using an M-code (or other command) in G-code? I am interested in programmatically switching a pneumatic valve during printing (a TTL or other l...
