Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
The only thing you need to check if you have a Casted (rev 1) or a CNC-milled (rev 2) housing. Check the pic's in this link: http://shop.bondtech.se/ec/upgrade-kits ... ybrid.html

Re: Purchase N1 or N2
If 205x20x205mm is enough for your needs go for N1. I think many N2 owners want the bigger build volume just in case even if they don't really need it...

Seems like heat realated to me. Try lower hotend temp to 190c. Don't use the top cover an leave the door open, more cooling is better. If you have a part cooling fan put it at 100%.

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Before you start modding away have you turned down stepper driver voltage to 0.5v? I use 0.5v at work and 0.6 volt at home and i have no problems with heat or tourqe with PLA and ABS. I have printed many long prints around 25-50 hours mark.

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Guys, if stepper motor gets to hot heat will transfers from the driveshaft to the drivegear and soften the plastic causing the problems in the picture above. I print with PLA on 3 differenet printers almost every day with PLA and i never get any problems after tuning down voltage to 0.6 volt. I even...

Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
I don't have much luck with right bowden extruder, it does not seem enough of force to push filament well enough, so it always clogs inside of the nozzle. What filament, temp, speed ect do you use? I have not printed alot with bowden side but when i have it works ok. What voltage do you use for you...

Re: Different print quality between two printers
Both prints look like crap. I suggest you calibrate your filament and check your first layer distance between nozzle and bed. Should be around 0.2mm.
Did you use support? Does not look like you did.

So you did CNC this bracket from aluminium? Looks very nice! But i don't understund what did not work out with the Bondtech extruder for you? Re: Project Bondtech Extruder
Hello, I had 2 question : - the bowden extruder is located on the upper bar but it seems to be not aligned with the 2 holes on the frame (to route the bowden tube). Just 10 cm lower of the hole but about 6 cm of misalignment, it seems the bowden tube is going to be very arched in my opinion. Is it ...

Yes this is normal. More heat makes the metal to expand. What you can do is to use global offset Z. For your ABS profile you can for example put in 0.1mm or what you think is the right number.
